EBDC - Camps (2007)

Our new expanded facility is a large hall conveniently located in the Glenview area right off Park Blvd. We have three fully equipped dance studios, an indoor and outdoor stage and a fenced courtyard/lunch area on a quiet street. Our caring, professional staff has many years of dance and teaching experience. We are sure your child will have wonderful time with us.

Spring Break Camp, April 9-13th

One week: $175. Daily: $40 per day. Final performance on last day of camp. Flexible scheduling, before- and after-care and Counselor-in-Training program available.
10% discount if paid in full by March 3lst.

Summer Camp (June 18th -August 10th)

  • Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm: before and after care available.
  • Daily dance classes in jazz, ballet, and hip-hop.
  • Also featured: tap, African, World dance, drama and art fieldtrips, games, and fun. Sleepovers and performances.
  • Ages 5-16. Boys and girls, all levels welcome
  • Campers will be placed in classes according to age and experience
  • Each four-week session will be highlighted by a final performance created by the campers
  • Flexible Scheduling: One, four, or eight week sessions, split weeks available

FEES/ENROLLMENT OPTIONS:

  • 1 week only: $175.00
  • 4 weeks: $525.00 (4th week free)
  • Additional weeks after 4: $100 per week
  • All 8 weeks: $800
  • Before/after care 8-9am or 3-6pm by prior arrangement: $5./hr additional
  • Counselor-in-training (13+only): $50/week (two week minimum: personal interview req)
  • Single days/half days/split weeks available at pro-rated amounts - please call
  • 10% discount for second sibling;
  • 10% discount for early enrollment if paid in full by May 3lst.

Dance Divas' Boot Camp: Aug. 13-18th

This newly-created program is for experienced dancers ages 9-up who want to learn about stage make-up, how to audition, guest teachers, etc.

Counselor-In-Training Program

Counselors-in-training must be 13 years old and have a personal interview with Ms. Bonnie Sita, Camp Director. Counselors-in-training will participate fully in all camp activities and will gain valuable leadership training assisting with younger campers’ activities according to their ability. Cost is $50. Per week/minimum of 2 weeks.

Staff

Camp Director: Bonnie Sita, Director of the East Bay Dance Center, holds a degree in Educational Psychology and has been teaching and directing young people’s dance since 1975.
